Each object begins as a piece of clay, shaped by hand using wheel throwing or other ceramic techniques. After drying, it is fired in the kiln, glazed, and fired again at over 1240°C. This slow process is what gives each handmade ceramic piece its character and durability.

Since everything is made by hand, each object is unique. Small variations in shape, color, and surface are a natural part of the craft. It is only when the kiln is opened that the final result is revealed.

Sometimes finished ceramic pieces are ready to ship, but often they are made to order. Delivery time is usually 2–4 weeks depending on where I am in the process.
